General

The owner must be
a current member and in good standing with the APHA and NETPHC.

NSF/returned check
charge: 1st check is $30.00; 2nd check is
$100.00 and no other checks will be accepted.

Registration
papers and a negative Coggins must be verified by the show secretary
when entering classes.

All Youth and
Amateur awards are based on a one-horse, one-rider combination with
the exception of lead line and walk-trot classes.

All NETPHC points
will be tabulated on a 6-5-4-3-2-1 point system. Points will be
based on the number of entries in each class. For example, if there
are 4 entries, first place would receive 4 points and 4th
place would receive 1 point.

Rules for special
awards (e.g. circuit or series awards) will be posted separately.

All awards (show
and year-end) are based upon the financial status of the NETPHC.
NETPHC Show Awards

High point and
reserve high point awards will be given for the following divisions
at all NETPHC-sponsored shows:

Open (junior
and senior combined)

Amateur (44 +
under and 45 + over combined)

To qualify for
high point and reserve high point, exhibitors must show in Halter in
their respective division.
NETPHC
Super Horse Award
Rules for Saddles
and Buckles: To qualify for "Super Horse" high point, reserve high
point, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th placings you must show in halter and in
at least 3 performance CATEGORIES and be a current member of Northeast
Texas Paint Horse Club. One eligible crossover allowed. You must sign
up and specify which division or divisions you are planning to qualify
in prior to competing.
NETPHC Year-end Awards

The effective date
of NETPHC membership shall be the date at which points may start to
be counted for year-end awards.

To qualify for
year-end awards, the owner of the exhibited horse must work at least
two hours at an NETPHC show and record it on the form provided by
the show secretary. The owner may have someone work their hours,
but the names of the person working and the owner must be designated
on the form. In lieu of working hours, the owner may pay $50.00 per
hour. The exhibitor must be listed on the membership form for
year-end awards to be awarded.

To qualify for
year-end awards, exhibitors must show in at least 3 NETPHC-sponsored
shows in Athens, Texas and 3 times per class (with the exception of
weanlings and 2 year-olds). Turkey Shoot counts as one show. This applies to the horse exhibited in
open classes and the one-horse, one-rider combination in Youth and
Amateur divisions.

In addition to the
above, the following applies for year-end class awards:

Classes must
have a minimum of 3 entries for NETPHC points to count toward
year-end awards (note that regardless of number of entries,
NETPHC points will count toward show awards)

A minimum of
10 NETPHC points must have been earned in the class to qualify
for the year-end class award

Based on financial
status of the NETPHC, overall year-end high point and reserve high
point awards will be presented to the following divisions:
